I am Saundra Bratton, a Virgin Islander, owner and operator of two Braids Shop in Honolulu, Hawaii where I have resided for the last thirty three years. Although I live outside of the Virgin Islands I return often to enjoy the beauty of our island.  It has always been my desire to give back to our community and especially to the young women whose shoes I once occupied. It is my passion to give our young women a helping hand in higher education and professionalism in the career of their choice. The Women Empowerment Project, a non-profit Organization (501c3 status approved) is coming to St Croix. It will provide our young women a chance to help them achieve their dreams. I am fortunate and thankful to be a part o this project. With over 30 years experience in the braiding and natural hair care industry. My goal is to continue to elevate the braid culture to a level of professionalism, creativity, and strategic marketing. Read More
